Micah Reese’s photo and video work has taken him up mountains, across the world and underwater. He is particularly known for his “Sirens” series, an ongoing project that takes world-renowned belly dancers and international performance artists underwater to create stunning art collaborations.
Micah’s special superpower is capturing what he sees in his subject. Whether it’s a mother’s limitless pride in her child, the fierce intensity of a burgeoning aerialist performer, the soul-searching eyes of an ancient chimp or the deep simplicity of an early morning drop of dew – Micah can make you feel the full breadth of the magic in the moment that he shot the image.
